As Macavity escapes the Jellicle cats, they believe him to be dead. By his own burst of electricity, which he had planned all along. To fake suicide if need be, in hopes they would miss him. But when his mother Grizabella dies, he can't hide it any longer. So they hear rumors of him, and start to question his return . . .

Admetus as Rumpus Cat with Plato, go searching for evidence of Macavity. Who ambushes a fight with them, Rumpus Cat retreats while Plato's captured. Being tortured into working with Macavity, Plato helps kidnap Quaxo and Victoria. After their refusal to join him, Macavity gives up on his children. But as he lets them go, Victoria then saves Plato as well . . .

Since the Heaviside layer reincarnates CATS, are they sent back in time? Because of Young Grizabella and Deuteronomy, in the beginning of the musical. Asparagus could represent Gus as well, like in his own father's flashback. If they die in that order, then Munkustrap will soon be leader. That's why they didn't stay long, so their future timeline wouldn't change . . .

Jemima and Sillabub could be twins, if Macavity kidnapped one of them. That's why the other's not there, because he misses his own children. Knowing his brother's the Rumpus Cat, Plato asks Admetus for his help. But he can't so Plato goes, which then also explains his absence. When Macavity's infiltrating the Jellicle cats, Plato's off rescuing Jemima or Sillabub . . .

But Gus played Growltiger years ago, so wouldn't Griddlebone be his age? She could be Bustopher Jones' mother, who ends up working with Macavity. He and her daughter soon meet, but Griddlebone doesn't want them together. So she then betrays their trust, which causes her daughter to die. As she gives birth to twins, who her brother takes care of . . .

They all blame each other's actions, and swear vengeance on one another. Which effects Admetus' family as well, so he becomes the Rumpus Cat. In order to help bring justice, Macavity works with Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer. Who remind him of his twins, but he's also abusive to them. So Admetus helps them escape Macavity, and they rejoin the Jellicle cats . . .

The roles of Growltiger and Griddlebone, played by Gus and his wife? Were passed onto Asparagus and Jellylorum, who named a son after Tumblebrutus. Growltiger's bosun of the pirate crew, which included his bucko mate Grumbskin. They went to Mr. Clark's bar, where Billy M'Caw danced and performed. Lily La Rose would serve drinks, and the pirates would get drunk . . .

Genghis and Gilbert could be twins, if Growltiger killed one of them. That's why the other's not there, because he avenged his missing ear. Knowing of Growltiger's relationship with Griddlebone, the other tries to corrupt her. Into helping him plan his revenge, by acting like he loves her. So they attack when they're drunk, and she escapes from the betrayal . . .
